Sauna with a hot tub
Why a sauna and a tub belong together
What makes a sauna work is not the heat itself but the change in temperature. Warming to 90-110 °C and then cooling quickly to 10 °C is the stimulus the body answers with constricted vessels, a release of endorphins and a faster circulation.
Without the cooling, a sauna is just pleasant warmth. With a cold tub right outside the door it is the complete procedure – and you do not have to drive to a spa for it.
The COMBO sets solve what usually holds people up: no two separate structures, no separate services and no matching of finishes. One unit arrives on a shared deck.
Ready-made sets
How a session runs
Warm up for 8 to 15 minutes, until you are properly sweating. Then out and straight into the cold water – ideally all the way to the shoulders, for 10 to 60 seconds depending on what you are used to.
Then rest for 10 to 15 minutes, and repeat the whole cycle two or three times. Drink between rounds; a sauna dehydrates more than people expect.
If you only want the cooling, a standalone cold plunge tub is enough. If you are weighing up a sauna against a whirlpool, read the hot tub and whirlpool comparison.
Frequently asked questions
Is switching between heat and cold safe?
For a healthy person, yes. With heart problems, high blood pressure or during pregnancy, ask your doctor first – that applies to saunas generally, not only to ours.
Does the tub next to the sauna need heating?
No, quite the opposite. A cold tub is what belongs with a sauna, and that is what the COMBO sets include.
How long is the lead time?
For COMBO sets count on 60 to 90 days depending on production load. The set arrives assembled and is only placed and connected on site.
