Hot tub for 2 people
A small tub has three advantages
Fast heating. 250 to 600 litres is warm in an hour; a large family tub takes twice as long.
Lower running costs. Less water means less chemistry and less energy to hold the temperature.
It fits. The oval models are 68 to 98 cm wide and pass through standard doors – so you can have one in a bathroom or a sauna.
Models for two
Corner or oval?
The corner model goes into the corner of a terrace or a room and takes up no walk-through space. You sit facing each other in it.
The oval one fits through a door and suits places where you would rather lie than sit – typically as a plunge tub next to a sauna. More under cold plunge tubs.
Frequently asked questions
Will a tub fit in a bathroom?
The oval models will, if you have a door of at least 80 cm and a floor that carries 400 to 700 kg. In a flat, have the floor capacity checked.
Can a small tub be heated?
Yes, with a 45 kW external stove or electrically. Up to 600 litres the stove manages the heat-up in just under an hour.
